CST Model FS Horizontal Drum Screen

CST Horizontal Fine Screens are high-capacity in-channel screening systems designed for efficient removal of fine solids at municipal and industrial inlet works. Installed as part of preliminary treatment, the system protects downstream equipment, reduces blockages, and improves overall plant reliability in high-flow wastewater environments. The horizontal screening configuration uses either wedgewire or perforated-plate screening elements mounted within a concrete channel or stainless steel tank. Influent is evenly distributed across the screen surface, where solids are retained while screened liquid passes through under gravity. Continuous self-cleaning action ensures stable performance even under fluctuating hydraulic loads.
